Our approach

You'll always know what we're doing and why.

Marketing agencies have a reputation for vagueness. Here's exactly how an engagement with us runs, from the first email to the monthly report.

The process

Five stages, no mystery

The first two happen before you've committed to anything. By the time you're deciding whether to work with us, you'll already know how we think.

Stage one

The first call

Twenty minutes, free. You tell us what the business does and what you want more of. We ask a lot of questions and tell you honestly whether this is something we can help with.

Stage two

The audit

We look properly at what you have — profiles, content, website, competitors. You get our honest read on what's working, what isn't, and what we'd prioritise, along with a quote.

Stage three

The plan

Once you're in, we agree the goal, the channels, the content pillars and how often we post. Nothing goes live until you've seen and approved the direction.

Stage four

Making and posting

Content gets created, sent to you for approval in batches, then scheduled and published. We handle comments and messages as they come in.

Stage five

Review and adjust

Every month we look at what performed, what flopped, and what that tells us. The plan changes based on evidence rather than habit.

The rhythm

What a typical month looks like

So you know how much of your time this actually takes. For most clients it's around an hour a month, plus filming if that's part of the plan.

Week one

We share next month's content plan. You review it, comment on anything you'd change, and approve. Usually takes you fifteen minutes.

Week two

Content gets made. If we need footage from you, we send a specific shot list rather than a vague request for "some clips".

Week three

Finished content comes to you for final approval, then goes into the schedule. Nothing is published that you haven't seen.

Week four

Reporting and a strategy call. What worked, what didn't, what we're changing — and anything you want to push on.

Reporting

Numbers that mean something

Plenty of agencies report impressions and reach because those numbers always look good. They rarely tell you whether the marketing is working.

We report on the things that connect to your business: whether the right people are finding you, whether they're engaging, and whether any of it turns into enquiries. When a number goes the wrong way, we say so and explain what we're doing about it.

Reach & discovery

How many new people found you, and through which content.

Engagement quality

Saves, shares and comments — the signals that mean something landed.

Profile to click-through

Whether the audience is moving from watching you to visiting you.

Enquiries & conversion

The one that pays for everything else. Tracked wherever it's possible to track.

How we make decisions

Four rules we work by

Consistency beats brilliance

One good post a week for a year will do more for you than a brilliant campaign that runs out of steam in month two. We build plans you can actually sustain.

Say the awkward thing

If your pricing is the problem, or the product needs work, or a channel isn't worth it — you'll hear that from us early, while it's still cheap to fix.

Follow the evidence

We have opinions, but the audience gets the final say. If something we were confident about underperforms three times, we drop it.

No jargon

You shouldn't need a marketing degree to understand your own reports. If we can't explain why something matters in plain language, it probably doesn't.

Stage one is a twenty-minute conversation.

No pitch deck, no pressure, nothing to sign. Just a chance for both of us to work out whether there's something worth doing here.
